Saturn is the sixth planet from the sun. In order from the sun, Saturn is after Jupiter and before Uranus.

Saturn is the second biggest planet out of the nine. It is a giant gas planet.

The picture on the right shows how big Saturn is compared to Earth.

Saturn has 24 rings. They are very thin, but bright because they are made of ice that reflects sunlight. Astronomers think they might be the debris caused by a comet smashing into one of Saturn's moons.
These pictures are of Saturn's rings.

Saturn has a lot of moons, including 36 big moons that are the size of the earth, with a lot of craters.
