Io is one of Jupiter's moons. Io has many volcanos that explode sulphur. Io also has mountains that are 10 km high. Some the volcanos are holes in the ground, others are cone shaped.

Io is mostly made of sulphur and a rocky material. It was first found in 1610.

Io has atmosphere but it is very thin.

fact#1:Io has volcanos and geysers. Geysers sprout liquid S02 instead of H20.

fact#2:Io is close to Jupiter. Jupiter rises behind Io.

fact#3:Io is pretty small compared to other moons.
