NOISES OFF
"Noises Off" is actually two plays for the price of one. It's a traditional British farce, "Nothing On", and at the same time it's the real-life farce that develops backstage during the show's final rehearsal and disastrous tour.

"Nothing On" and "Noises Off" interlock as the actors make their way from one play, only to find themselves making entrances into the other - and back again.

P*PSTERS
Canned Laughter's first production was "P*PSTERS," a low budget, improvisational show about a group of new pop stars as they set out on the road for fame and fortune. The show involved a large assortment of improvised characters and audience participation.

With a budget of $3000, P*PSTERS was a self-funded experimental production that proved a success. Canned Laughter now plans to endeavour on a much larger project - a play - "Noises Off."
