In this workshop you will learn to use wire to string your beads and stones for your necklace and to bend wire to create elegant earrings for that professional look. All of your pieces will be finished in sterling silver or gold plate.
Your experience starts with an introduction to the craft of beading and orientation to the tools and materials that you will use. Then you will be able to choose from a large range of beautifully crafted glass beads and semi-precious stones and pendants to create your necklace and earring set.
For inspiration there are many examples of designs to view or you may wish to create your own unique design. The tutor can offer you guidance on a variety of beading techniques and help with the co-ordination of colour and texture. At the end of the workshop you will be equipped with the skills to create a variety of beading projects, examples of which will be discussed and demonstrated by the tutor, during the experience.
