24/10/2008 Voice contact with Richard Garriott!
At approximatly 0030 on the 24th
October we made radio contact with Astronaut Richard
Garriot, on what was probably his last orbit before
returning to earth!
22/10/2008 SSTV Success!
After tweaking the software and some midnight
sessions in the radio shack we have some wonderful
images from the ISS. Both images are looking out
one of the window's on the station.
1/10/2008 New Antenna for the 70cm band
Our new helix antenna is finished! This antenna
replaces the 70cm yagi that was not circularly
polarised - causing dropouts in signal. The 70cm
antenna is used to communicate on the amateur
radio satellites like AO-51. We are using these
satellites to help test and verify our station.
