Healing Paws began in 2005 as a canine massage business.  My interest in aromatherapy, and a desire to help my clients help their pets in my abscence, lead me to develop my range of canine massage bars.  I have created five blends to treat the most common conditions I encountered in my practice.  These include

• Arthritis and other joint complaints
• Malaise cause by ongoing terminal conditions such as cancer , kidney and liver diseases
• Separation anxiety and other issues related to settling shelter dogs in their new home
• Surgery recovery
• General health/pampering

Later I decided to produce these blends as dog soap as well as solid massage bars, to diversify the ways in which aromatherapy can be applied to help my clients.

 As a result of my continued studies in aromatherapy I have now added a calming dog toy to my range.

 These are available through mail order from my shop.

I am a qualified Canine Muscle Therapist, obtaining my Certificate of Canine Myofunctional Therapy from the National College of Traditional Medicine.  Healing  Paws was established in 2005.

I have a keen interest in aromatherapy and continue to study independently.

Jack  I love to learn new tricks, chase tennis balls and run very fast.  I’m a healthy 10yr old and massage keeps me supple and strong for all that running.

Mabel  I am also 10yrs old but I was born with luxating patellas (and I think I’m a princess) so I don’t run around  like Jack.  Massage keeps the muscles around my knees strong and helps to prevent arthritis.

PJ I’m 18 and I’m originally a farm dog so I’m pretty tuff, probably why I’ve lasted so long!  I have a few age related problems like arthritis and some breathing problems. Aromatherapy massage helps to control my pain and clear my sinuses so I don’t snore……as much!
