The fourth beast shall be A fourth kingdom on earth (v.23).

And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads

And another shall arise after them (v.24).

He shall destroy fearfully... He shall destroy the mighty, and also the holy people... He shall destroy many in their prosperity (vv.24-5).

[He] shall persecute the saints of the Most high... Then the saints shall be given into his hand (v.25b).

It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them (v.7).

And there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation Even to that time (v.1).

"How long shall the fulfilment of these wonders be?" (v.6).

For a times and times and half a time (v.25).

and he was granted authority to continue for forty-two months (v.5).

it shall be for a time, times and half a time; and when the power of the holy people has been completely shattered, all these things shall be finished (v.7).
