Our White Christmas Social was our tenth with popular country duo Carter & Carter. David & Merelyn sang 3 brackets featuring some songs from their new CD. Combined with CDs we danced a total of 56 dances.

Our skit started with David Carter as Bing Crosby singing White Christmas, and then Frosty The Snowman, Suzy Snowflake and a group of dancing penguins made their way onto the dance floor.

It was great to see so many folk dressed for the occasion including a very pregnant dancer (Faye Barnett) who came to the hall after unsuccessfully looking for a place to stay for the night. Later in the evening she gave birth to a baby boy. Jack Frost (Lyn Doy) was also in attendence.
