![]() "BEACH PARTY LINE DANCE SOCIAL" There is only one thing better than going to the beach on a warm, sunny, Sunday afternoon. And that is ... going to a Beach Party Line Dance Social. The Beach Party was well attended by about 80 line-dancers wearing a variety of bathing costumes, sarongs, sun hats and sunglasses. Some people even remembered zinc cream for their noses! It was a fun-filled afternoon, with a program consisting of approximately 37 different dances. The obvious one being "Some Beach". The steps to this dance are familiar with most line-dancers, but how many have actually listened to the WORDS of the song? Well... Dancin' Lines and Co. decided to entertain the crowd by acting it out: Poor Keith was trying to imagine "some beach, somewhere" whilst: "He stuck that needle down into my gum and he started drillin' before I was numb..."
After the break, Gerhard appeared on stage wearing a lifeguard outfit to which Glenda, Julie and Anne sang the song, "Please Don't Talk to the Lifeguard".
But, the highlight of the afternoon was when Keith was seen, running from the locker to the shore, wearing ... yes, you guessed it ... an itsy, bitsy, teenie, weenie, yellow, polka-dot bikini.
