This church is a branch of The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, USA.
The Church of Christ, Scientist, was founded by Mary Baker Eddy, "to commemorate the word and works of our Master, which should reinstate primitive Christianity and its lost element of healing."

Church Services: Sundays at 9.30am, and Wednesdays at 7.30pm; also at 1 pm on the first Wednesday of each month, at the Reading Room. You and your friends are welcome! The sermon at the Sunday service consists of the passages contained in the Bible Lesson for that week. Two Readers, one for the Bible and one for Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy, read these passages aloud. At the Wednesday meetings there is a time provided for sharing first-hand accounts of spiritual healing, and other remarks on Christian Science.
Sunday School: Sundays at 9.30am, where you can talk over the ideas in the Weekly Bible Lessons with other people your age. You can find out how to use these ideas at school, in relationships, at work - anywhere. If you're under twenty, please come! Care is provided for very small children.
Broadcasts: Christian Science Sentinel on Radio 4RPH Brisbane (am1296) at 5.30pm Sundays; The Christian Science Monitor on Radio 4RPH at 3.30pm Mondays; and weekly Bible Lessons on Television Channel 31 at 11.30am Sundays and on radio 4RPH at 1.30pm Sundays.
