Spiritual Doodles and Mental Leapfrogs:

A Playbook for Unleashing Spiritual Self-Expression

This book is a fun-filled activity book containing over 50 light-hearted and engaging exercises. The basis of these activities is doodling (Doodle - to scribble without thinking about something else, or nothing. To the left brain "on hold").

In some ways, this is an extension of Betty Edwards' "Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain". The visual, non-analytical side of our brain is allowed to be in control of the analytical left-side by working on activities that are visual in nature.

The book's fun and interactive "plexercises" (play + exercise) are designed to help embody and personalize important spiritual principles or lessons. Although the label of "spiritual" or terms such as "connected with Spirit" are used by the author, don't let that worry you! Julia Cameron's Artists Way book did a splendid job in helping people (such as this reviewer) unleash the artist/creator within.

Kathrine Revoir has produced a book that allows the reader to participate in a journey of exploration as well as having fun. And lack of art training is a BONUS.

So what are you waiting for? Just doodle it!
