2008 Candela Dance Performance Courses
We are pleased to announce that this year's Performance Courses will include 3 different Dance Styles: Salsa/Rueda, Reggaeton/Salsa Shines, and Bachata!
UPDATE: All places for the Salsa and Bachata Performances have been filled. There are only a few spots left in Reggaeton!
This is a wonderful opportunity for you to:
- Perform as part of a group - which requires teamwork and dedication!
- Learn and memorize new and exciting material!
- Greatly improve your dance style and technique!
Rehearsal Info:
- Each course is comprised of 10 x 1 hour Sunday rehearsal sessions.
- Courses will run from Sunday 31 August - Sunday 16 November (inclusive). Please note during this period there will be 2 Sundays off - dates to be advised shortly.
- All rehearsals will be conducted Upstairs @ Cafe Beelzebub, 353 Smith Street, Fitzroy.
Sunday Rehearsal Times:
- Reggaeton/Salsa Shines (Footwork) @ 12:00pm
- Salsa/Rueda (Partnerwork) @ 1:15pm
- Bachata (Partnerwork) @ 2:30pm
Pricing
- Performers Package - $200 (Includes 10 week Performance Course, entry to 2008 Candela Dance Spectacular, and a Certificate of Participation).
- Each Additional Choreography - $150
Payment Plan
- $50 deposit due now to secure your place.
- Balance of payment due by Sunday 31 August 2008.
- Please note that course fees are non-refundable as we commit resources to the courses based on student numbers.
Costumes
- Costumes will be at an additional cost.
