Melbourne’s Smooth Dance Move

In a smooth move like that of a professional dancer, Melbourne will be playing host to the first International Melbourne Latin Festival (MLF) in April 2009.  The event will be held over a whole weekend of April 3 to 5, 2009 with over 40 performances, 30 Dance Workshops and three  Huge parties.

This world class event will have the ‘cream of the crop’ artist from the dance world, such as JUNIOR & EMILY (9 X USA Salsa Champs), Oliver Pineda & Luda Kroiter (5 x Salsa World Champs), Kadu and Larisa (QLD/Brazil), Giancarlo and Masha (Slovenia/Sweden), Carlos & Elli (QLD Latin Steps), the Modus Vivendi crew just to name a few who will inspire dancers and dance professionals alike with the chance to learn from, meet and spend time with their dance idols.

MLF will be held under one roof at the Darebin Arts and Entertainment Centre in Preston, is powered by Rydges Bell City Hotel, the event’s sponsor and preferred accommodation provider (www.rydges.com/cwp/latinfest).

Over the weekend you will have access to hearing some of the best live Latin bands and DJ”s Australia has to offer.
