Likes: Music, Soccer (Queens Park Rangers), Movies (Any), Border Collies, Southern Comfort, Books (Sci Fi and Fantasy preferred), Snow, Water, A good scotch, Laughing, Dining out, Dining in, Quiet time, A nice white wine, Junior soccer, Porridge and chocolate (not together), Playstation 2, X-box, Computer games, Holidays, Footrot Flats and Christmas at home.
Dislikes: Flying (With a passion), Boredom, Gardening (I’d rather fly !), Growing older, Going to bed early, Equipment failure, Tomato sauce, Pizza with tomato sauce, Anything with tomato sauce, Haggis, Sore throats, Faulty leads, Rainy holidays and Christmas anywhere else but home!
Top Ten Albums: Very difficult to pick but at the moment: Yes: Tales from Topographic Oceans. (I love this album). Live: Throwing Copper. (Such passion and heart, great album). Mike Oldfield: Ommadawn. (Fond memories of a girl from my past) Fleetwood Mac: Rumours. (Summer of 77. Brings back memories). Genesis: Selling England by the Pound. (Still play this often). Secret Garden: Once in a Red Moon. (Brilliant). Enya: Watermark (Takes me out there !) Heart: Dreamboat Annie (Memories of a certain time and place!) Rush: 2112 (What a tour, what a band.). Magnum: Kingdom of Madness. Pink Floyd: Momentary Lapse of Reason. (Ok, ok I know that’s 11 but I couldn’t help myself!).
Top Ten Movies: This changes every week. Lord of the Rings 1,2 and 3. (This counts as one right ?). Star Wars. Home Alone. (I’m a sucker for John Hughes movies). Plains, Trains and Automobiles. (See!) Shrek Monsters Inc. (Hey I love kids movies too). National Lampoons Christmas Vacation. Raiders of the Lost Ark. True Lies. Pirates of the Caribbean. (Johnny Depp, what can I say!).
Favorite Aragon Track: At The Mercy Of Lions (Mouse) I love this track for it’s passion and I believe the music and lyric work very well together in telling the story. All the emotion of the lyric is enhanced by the guitar with the keyboards holding the body of the song together. That lyric in that song meant a lot to me at that time and it explains a lot of what was happening outside of the band during that time. I just wished I had more time with the vocal track to really boost my performance. That said, this is one of my most fondest memories in the studio.
Future Of This Web Page: I hope to work on a journal for all of you, pictorial and editorial to let you know what’s happening in the world of Aragon on a more personal level. Some of the lighter sides of Aragon life rather than all the business end of things. I may stick some of my art stuff on here just for fun. I’ll let you all know how my soccer team (Lilydale Eagles) is going and whatever else takes my fancy. If there’s anything you want to know or see on this page, let me know and just maybe, I will oblige.
