We’ve been together since 1998 and both enjoy what we do.
We have performed in many parts of Sydney, NSW, Qld and USA.
(with various very talented musicians).

PETER about POPPY

POPPY was the winner of 1986 Australian Star Search.
She has a strong voice. *patrons love her voice*
She’s cool..! and loves a good laugh.
Poppy has the ability to work hard all night long with her melodic tunes, harmonies & gritty rock n blues or pop styles.
Poppy has worked with some great entertainers both local and overseas with artists such as Edwin Duff, Melissa Manchester, Stevie Nicks, Julie Anthony, John Farnham, Jimmy Barnes, Harry Connick Jr.

POPPY about PETER

Peter has performed over the years with talented Australian guitarist John Robinson (Blackfeather, 60’s & 70’s songwriter, arranger, producer).
Peter was guitar player and manager of:

• Original Sin - INXS Concept show 88 to 92,
• The Best Of British -  Concept show 94 to 96

Both shows enjoyed popularity and success with awesome players of OZ,

A Word From Poppy
i have always been influenced by strong, clear vocals and harmonys.
I easily lose interest in music that loses it’s distinguishability!
No point writing sexy, sad, happy or mad  phrases or songs that can’t be understood vocally, let alone musically!!
I loved listening to Linda Ronstadt, with her clear melodic tone. Ful of empathy and sorrow. I am also influenced by Karen Carpenter, Carol King, Carly Simon, Rita Coolige, Barbara Streisand, Dusty Springfield, Whitney Houstin and Celine Dion,  just to name a few.
