Individual Note: Henry was a Captain in the 56th Regiment at the time of his death in the Grenadier Company. He served with credit at the siege of Gibraltar and died of fever in Glascow aged 25 years. He was survived by his wife of twelve months Elizabeth Bedingfield.
His portait was painted by Sir William Buckey in 1787 and is or was in the possession of Richard Bedingfield Esq. (great nephew of Mrs Henry Addison) who married Miss Green-Emmott.
