In a virtual world dominated by overseas databases of teaching resources it’s nice to find one that relates directly to our local curriculum. I will certainly be recommending this site to students in my education course.

I found the Maths Internet Guide website an amazing resource for both teachers and students. There is a wealth of information on the world wide web and much time can be wasted in searching for the website that is appropriate to the age of the students you are teaching or to their standard of mathematics. This website takes you straight to the appropriate websites. It is also user friendly so students will find it easy to access. All in all it is a website that will be very useful in mathematics education.

This is a great collection of interactive Maths activities which will be a real boon to the rural and isolated schools in our program. Teachers should take advantage of this site to integrate the internet into regular maths lessons. Congratulations on a super concept!

I'm going to recommend it to my preservice teachers at uni. It will be a great reference for them when they are teaching. They will be able to get background information on the history of mathematics, ideas on how to teach it or information on how to improve their own mathematics. Thank you for a great resource.

Thank you for developing this wonderful site. It is
so valuable to have had someone actually go through the minefield of websites to
find ones that are appropriate for today's schools. I have no hesitation in
giving any of these sites to students to either help their understanding of
learned knowledge, be instructed in new Mathematical delights, research that
tricky assignment or just surf through Mathematics. The site is well organised
and I found the multiple search methods very helpful for zooming in on the
required topic. It was very helpful to just refer my students to the site on
'Newton's approximation.'
Excellent work

We have browsed through your Maths Internet Guide web pages. I think that it is a great source of online information for maths teachers with limited hours in their day (like me). It provides clear navigation through many sites and offers mathematics information for anyone to browse and learn. We have sent the URL to friends with school age children and will be using it for our own teaching as an easy to find resource that id up to date. Thanks and Congratulations on such a great effort!

A great idea. I haven't seen anything as good as this yet, so well done. I hope you realise that this is only the first couple of steps in a longer walk. I would also like to see the site set up so that it is more program orientated (then it can be easily dropped into my school programs). Thanks for your efforts.

Great site, I'm going to dive into that more thoroughly - I've got it on my favourites. What a breadth of info and very attractive, I've never seen such a comprehensive source of info so accessible.

Hello! I love the internet site! It is
practical and applicable even in America. I like that it s also rich with
history, not just practical applications. I
will use the site w/ my math education classes.

Thankyou for your website! As a Primary school teacher I can easily find different interactive maths activities and games to suit different levels and to teach different subjects. Because the site is so well organised I can use it as a reference when programming. I'm a big believer in using concrete examples, games and activities which allow experimentation with mathematical concepts which is why I would use a website like this.
